Upset brewing

Through the first half of the Davis-Lone Peak game, the Darts are thoroughly outplaying the heavily-favored Knights and take a 7-point lead into the locker room.

The Davis student section is spilling into the upper deck, and is over half full. In all my years covering state tournaments at the Dee Events Center I’ve never seen a student section so full. It’s safe to say that 80 to 85 percent of the Dee Events Center is cheering for the Davis Darts.

It should be an exciting second half.
