February Madness in full swing

Today is a busy, busy day for high school basketball with the 2A boys and girls quarterfinals at the Sevier Valley Center, the 3A boys and girls quarterfinals at the E Center and the 5A girls quarterfinals at Salt Lake Community College.

It’s equally as exciting from the standpoint that now we know the match-ups for the 5A and 4A boys state tournaments next week. Next week is the most exciting week of the entire year for high school sports, it’s our own little February Madness.

So what do our readers think of the match-ups in all classifications? What stands out from today’s games, as well as next Monday and Tuesday’s first-round games in Ogden?

For myself, I’m really looking forward to the 3A girls quarterfinals tonight. There are eight quality teams in action, which is sure to create some excitement at the E Center.
