Signing Day 2009?

Today is very exciting day for dozens of high school football players across the state. In reality though, it’s not exactly a newsworthy day. We’ve known for over a year that Bingham’s Justin Sorensen and Austin Holt are going to BYU, and that Derek Tuimauga is going to be a Ute. Shak committed to Utah a few months ago, while Lynn Katoa has already enrolled at Colorado University.

The big question is, a year from now, who are we going to be talking about as Utah’s best recruits. A few that stand out to me are:

Pine View WR Robert Evans
Cottonwood OL John Martinez
Highland DL Latu Heimuli
Timpview OL Tui Crighton
Timpview OL Xavier Su’a-Filo
Timpview DB Craig Bills
